Terms of Service
Draft — not yet in effect. Last updated: October 25, 2026.
1. What MyTradeDiary is
MyTradeDiary is a web-based trading journal. You record trades you have made, and the service calculates statistics from your entries and presents them back to you for review and learning.
MyTradeDiary is an educational record-keeping tool. Nothing in the service — no statistic, chart, summary, or example — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, contract, or asset. MyTradeDiary is not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner, and it does not execute trades or hold your money or assets. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Decisions are yours alone; consult a licensed professional for advice about your own situation.
2. Your entries and your data
In the free journal, your entries are stored locally in your own browser on your own device. They are not sent to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data, switching browsers, or switching devices can make those entries unavailable, so we recommend exporting a CSV backup regularly. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record; statistics are only as accurate as the entries behind them.
3. Paid plans and billing
- Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's terms, and Paddle handles applicable sales tax or VAT.
- Founding ($39, one-time) is offered to the first 25 buyers and provides paid-tier access for the lifetime of the product while it operates. “Lifetime” refers to the life of the product, not the life of the buyer. If MyTradeDiary is discontinued, founding access ends when the product does.
- Standard ($15/month) is a subscription that renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period and no further charges are made.
- Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy on this page.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the service only for your own lawful record-keeping and learning.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for harmful purposes, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
- Do not present MyTradeDiary's output as professional financial advice to others.
5. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyTradeDiary and its owner are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on its statistics. Your trading decisions are your own. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Privacy Policy
Draft — not yet in effect. Last updated: October 25, 2026.
1. The short version
The free journal keeps your trades on your device, not on our servers. We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising trackers.
2. What stays on your device
Trade entries, notes, screenshots, and voice memos you create in the free journal are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to us, and we cannot see, recover, or restore them. If you clear your browser data, they are gone — exporting a CSV is the way to keep a backup.
3. What we receive
- Payments: purchases are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of your purchase and the email address associated with it so we can provide paid access and support.
- Waitlist and contact email: if you join the waitlist or email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and use them only to reply and to run the waitlist.
- Basic technical information: like most websites, hosting may record standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
4. What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not connect to your brokerage, bank, or trading accounts, and we never ask for those credentials.
- We do not use your trade data for advertising or profiling.
5. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers needed to operate — payment processing (Paddle) and email — and only to the extent needed. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Your choices
You can delete your local journal data at any time by clearing the app's data in your browser. To ask what purchase-related information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email mytradediary.hq@gmail.com. Deleting purchase records may end paid access tied to them.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
Refund Policy
Draft — not yet in effect. Last updated: October 25, 2026.
If MyTradeDiary's paid plans aren't right for you, ask within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund it in full — no questions about why, no forms to fight with.
How it works
- Standard subscription ($15/month): request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, or within 14 days of a renewal charge, and that charge is refunded in full.
- Founding ($39, one-time): request a refund within 14 days of purchase and it is refunded in full. After 14 days, the founding purchase is final.
- After 14 days: you can cancel a subscription at any time to stop future charges; the current paid period is not refunded, and access runs to the end of that period.
How to request a refund
Email mytradediary.hq@gmail.com from the email address used at checkout, with “Refund” in the subject line. Refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method; Paddle's processing time after approval is typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Exceptions
We may decline a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse of this policy (for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles). Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law, and Paddle's buyer terms may provide additional protections.
